What does "Swing is Slow" mean?

興味深い記事を発見したので自分用にメモ。

要するに、プログラマの不注意(というか、swingを理解してないのが原因だと思うが)で、イベントハンドラの中にたくさんのコードを詰め込んでしまうのが、遅くなる原因だ、と。
